Sandstone House

This low key unassuming house in DLF City Gurgaon was designed on a 400 sq yd plot for the owners & their grown up son & daughter.  With living spaces and a guest bedroom on the ground floor and additional entertainment areas in the basement the spaces in the house flow and focus around a skylit atrium to one side.  Quiet beige finishes in the interiors filled with mellow daylight are offset by the warm wood used in detailing while internal partitions in transparent glass knit the spaces into a whole.

The bedrooms and family lounge on the upper floor all open into terraces or balconies enabling maximum connection t the outdoors while a sunken court does the same for the basement.
